Imagine great beaches, no drinking age, and nonstop partying. Sounds good? This is Jamaica spring break, a paradise for college students everywhere. The beautiful island of Jamaica offers something for every student needing a break from the grueling tasks of school.
By day, the Caribbean island offers relaxing beaches and a multitude of craft markets for shopping. But don't count on sleeping all day on the beach, there is more to do and see in Jamaica and you won't want to miss a minute of it.
To get a little bit of history during your break from school, all spring breakers must go to the Rose Hall Great House. Once a massive sugar plantation, this house offers more than a quaint historical value to the beautiful island of Jamaica. Murder stains its past and it is said that the White Witch, Annie Palmer, still roams the rooms of Rose Hall.
Haunted houses not adventurous enough for you? While in Montego Bay see the Aquasol Theme Park, a beach side park that includes go-kart racing, banana boats, snorkeling, a glass bottom boat, beach volleyball, and every Wednesday and Friday they have a Beach Bash. Come face to face with the natives during your Jamaica spring break. The native crocodiles that is, explore the remote mangrove swamps of Black River and see crocodiles and other exotic animal life.
Then visit Dunn's River Falls and climb the six hundred foot waterfalls. Climb the falls solo or in a guided human chain. After all of your hard work relax in the "massage parlor" and let the water sooth your tired muscles as it flows into the warm Caribbean Sea.
Don't let your Jamaica spring break end there. Head to Negril, where the party never ends. Take a day trip to YS falls or go on a sailing picnic cruise while you relax for the evening's festivities. Continue your week-long celebration of freedom with a cross-country Jeep safari and Jungle River Tubing. Finish off your day with a sunset party cruise.
Your days and nights will never be boring while spring breaking in Negril. The Coral Seas Beach Party will keep you hopping with games and beer bong tournaments. The giant water trampoline in Margaritaville and all day music will get you revved up and ready for the all night partying.
If you need a break in all of the fun you’re having on your Jamaica spring break, you can sit back and relax in the swinging "sky chairs" and watch one of the giant televisions. When you find yourself in need of refreshments, a cold drink is never far away. Fifteen bars are set up and ready to serve right on the beach so you never have to miss a moment of the action.
Have you found yourself getting bored? Already hit all of the parties and seen all of the sights? Are you ready for something new? Wednesday night's Mardi Gras will cure that. Music, drinks, food, and beads right on the beach, it's Mardi Gras Jamaica style.
Thursday night make the rounds to all your favorite spots and get ready for Friday's Foam "Hook Up" Party. Get free yards filled with your favorite drink when you visit Jamaica's only foam pit.
