This means that international investors are really starting to take a look at the island as a place that they can seriously do business with.  Even though there is still room for improvement, the Jamaica economy would not be any where near what it is now without all of the revenue earned from tourism. In fact, tourism is the main source of income for the island as it earns more than 50 percent in earnings and it also provides roughly a quarter of all of the on the island. As you can see, there is a lot to the story of the economy within the Jamaican island. There are many factors that play a part in the success of the country and even though they have had their ups and downs, they continue to fight to make sure that they stay afloat.
