Jamaica all inclusive properties provide airport transfers, usually in passenger vans or small buses, for their customers. At the airport local baggage handlers will carry your bags to the resort bus for a $1 tip per bag. It is also acceptable and expected that you tip your bus driver upon arrival at the resort lobby.

The receptionist will greet you with a cool drink of rum or champagne and welcome you to Jamaica. Tipping is not expected inside the resort and visitors are able to enjoy unlimited food, drink, and activities without the hassle of carrying money around.

Off-site trips to visit outside the paradise of the resort are, of course, opportunities to contribute to the local economy through tipping and buying local crafts, woodcarvings, paintings and pottery from Jamaica’s talented artisans.

Water-sports on Jamaica’s north coast include sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, para-sailing, Jet Ski, banana boat, glass-bottomed boat, hydra biking, kayaking and river rafting. Any of these activities should be available from any of the resorts.

Certain off-site excursions are not included in your stay but can be arranged for you. On land tourists enjoy horseback riding, tennis, golf, mountain biking, hiking, shopping, and rock climbing.

Visitors to the Ocho Rios area can take day trips to Dunns River Falls, a stunning series of wide shallow falls over huge rock terraces. Rose Hall, the haunted Great House of an 18th century sugar plantation, sits above the northern stretch of beaches in the hills.

The Wyndham Rose Hall is a Jamaica all inclusive that offers a water-park complex with waterfalls, lazy river, swim up bar and giant water-slide. The resort welcomes children and families, has a golf course on the water’s edge, and offers twelve dining options of various styles.

Generally all inclusive means all meals including "a la Carte" dining, all drinks, -including premium brand liquors, and all tips, all water-sports inc. scuba, water-skiing and snorkel trips -instruction included, all lands-ports including golf, tennis and racquetball.

Jamaica all inclusive also include, horseback riding, beach parties, live entertainment, boat trips, game rooms with satellite TV, pool tables, board games, shopping shuttle to nearby markets, in room dining, fitness centers, private beach, medical nurse on-site and doctor on call 24/7.

Some clubs offer ATM machines, currency change, umbrellas to brave the afternoon tropical showers, nude beaches, honor bars, room stocking and spa treatments.

At Couples Ocho Rios, located harbor front on a beach overlooking Tower Island and the boats passing through the busy port of Ocho Rios, the atmosphere is island glamor.

Tower Island is a tiny rock island owned by Couples where several gazebos with hanging chairs provide shade for nude sunbathers.

Another Jamaica all inclusive is Couples Negril, on the western tip of Jamaica, roughly an hour and a half’s drive from the airport in Montego Bay. It is considered by many to be the finest all inclusive resort in the Caribbean, has seen top ranking in Travel and Leisure’s Reader’s Poll World’s Best Awards. The setting is sublime in part because of the city of Negril’s law restricting construction higher than the palms. Rooms are bungalow style on the sand, densely surrounded by lush gardens, ponds and streams.
