The All Inclusive Jamaica Resorts
The Classy Way to Go!

All Inclusive Jamaica resorts can save travelers money and time as well as offering them a chance to try food and activities they wouldn’t necessarily try on their own.

Jamaica is a beautiful and lush island, the second largest in the Caribbean. It has wide expanses of white sand beach, spicy Caribbean cuisine, and friendly people. What’s more, it’s easy to get there. Jamaica is just a two-hour flight from Florida.

What are All Inclusive Jamaica Resorts?

Jamaica was one of the first islands to offer all-inclusive vacation packages and it stills excels in such vacations.

All-inclusive packages vary from resort to resort, but most include accommodations, transportation back and forth to the airport, meals, activities, and all taxes and service charges. Many resorts also include beverages, although many restrict bar drinks to house brand liquors, local beer, and house wines. Some offer premium brands for a small surcharge. Meals vary, but are frequently served buffet-style. Larger resorts offer guests a choice of restaurants.

A long and varied list of activities is generally included with all-inclusive Jamaica resorts packages. This is one of the main attractions of such a package. Non-motorized watersports, such as snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, and catamaran sailing are usually included. So, frequently, are nightly live entertainment and other activities, such as exercise classes, lectures on the area, and sports instruction. Resorts that cater to families often include an organized children’s program and even babysitting in their packages.

Resorts with multiple locations on Jamaica, such as Sandals Resorts, give guests the opportunity to use the facilities at any of the affiliate resorts without an additional charge. In the case of Sandals, they even provide transportation to the other locations. All-inclusive resort packages, generally, do not include such things as spa services, golf, sightseeing, and motorized watersports, although such services and activities can often be arranged.

Some all-inclusive packages include airfare and some do not. Ask when making your reservation to be sure what you are getting.

Generally, packages booked with a tour company or airline tour desk, such as Travel Impressions or American Airlines Vacations, include airfare, whereas packages booked directly with a resort, such as Sandals or the Superclubs Resorts do not. If the package does not include airfare, it can generally be easily added.

Advantages to an All Inclusive Jamaica Resorts Vacation

The primary advantage to an all-inclusive vacation is that you know exactly how much money you will be spending before you leave home. With an all-inclusive vacation, there’s no “sticker shock” when you go out to dinner on vacation and no subsequent scrimping or scrambling to secure additional funds. All your basic expenses are included. Anything that you spend while on vacation will be for shopping, pampering, or little extras, such as Champagne or sightseeing.

Another advantage to booking an all-inclusive vacation is that you get to try things that you wouldn’t normally try if you had to pay extra for them. Watersports, such as windsurfing or kayaking, become more appealing when they are included in your vacation package price. Appealing, too, are classes and activities, such as a yoga class, a Caribbean cooking class, or a seminar on braiding hair with beads.

How to Book an All-Inclusive Jamaica Resorts Vacation

Making reservations for an all inclusive Jamaica vacation is easy. One telephone call, or website visit, is all that you need.

Travel agents are a great resource for booking your Jamaica vacation. They have information on dozens of resorts and can help you pick the one that’s right for you and your family. They can also confirm airfare if it’s not included with the package you choose.

Online travel sites, such as Orbitz and Travelocity, are other good resources. These interactive sites may require a little bit of reading, but they give thorough information on all the resort inclusions, accommodations, and amenities. Such sites also frequently offer special pricing for Internet users. You can book your airline arrangements via these sites, too, if it isn’t included in your resort package.

Jamaica is a truly magical place to spend your vacation. The unique island charm and friendliness as well as its sparkling turquoise waters and lush inland rain forests envelope and enchant visitors.

An all-inclusive package is an easy and carefree way to travel to Jamaica. Why worry about what things will cost when one upfront price includes everything? With an all-inclusive Jamaica resorts package, it's “No Worry, Man!”
